About GHC

Georgia Highlands College is a dynamic multi-campus state college in the University System of Georgia. Established in 1970 as Floyd Junior College, it now proudly serves thousands of students from over 30 counties in Northwest Georgia. GHC boasts five vibrant locations in Rome, Cartersville, Marietta, and Dallas, along with a robust online program. With more than 45 exciting areas of study, GHC offers both associate and bachelor’s degree options, available in the classroom and online.

In 2023, GHC nursing students achieved a remarkable 96% pass rate on the NCLEX-RN, the national licensure exam required to become a registered nurse.

Pass Rate for the Dental Hygiene Licensure Exam (CRDTS)

In 2023, GHC dental hygiene students achieved a 100% pass rate on the state licensure exam, qualifying them to practice as licensed dental hygienists.
